Today I am 27 weeks 4 days - 88 days to go! According to my scales, I have gained about 16lbs... (That was just for my memory) I can't believe how fast time is going! I have so much to do before this little man gets here! We are getting new carpet in our bedrooms - the guy came and measured last week and the carpet is suppose to be delivered in 7-10 days. Once we get that taken care of I will be able to paint (I know, I should have painted and then got carpet)... I still have not found baby bedding that I really like, boys just do not have a lot to choose from that is REALLY cute! Girls, I would have a problem picking because there is so much I love! I found one that I like for a boy but it is a little expensive so I am still looking... :(
My mom's (my mom, step-mom, and MIL), my sister and best friend are planning me a baby shower! I am SO thankful for this! My son is 11 years old and even though I am having another boy - I have NOTHING!! After about 4 or 5 years, I got rid of everything. I was sick of storing it and was not planning on having another child anytime soon so I got rid of EVERYTHING!
We have been super busy lately as I said before - work has been crazy(it is starting to settle down), Little League baseball opening day was this past Saturday, and it is warmer out so that means more work outside the house!! :) I love this time of year! Going to the ball field to watch my little man play! The smell of everything blooming! School coming to an end for the summer!! That part is bitter sweet for me - the sweet part - no more homework, the bitter part - my son goes to his dads for half the summer... I miss him like crazy when he is there! He will be with me the second half of summer so when the baby come he will be home and we can spend some time together!
Hopefully I will get time to update tomorrow after my doctors appointment and then try to update once a week or so... :)
I can't find anything cute for a boy either!! We don't know the sex yet, but I'll be shocked if it's not a boy! We're getting new carpet too and I'm not painting til we know the sex,,,,so I'm right there w/ ya! KK used to go to her dads for half the summer, but we did every other week....there was no way I could deal w/ her being gone for more than 7 days in a row! She doesn't go up there anymore. Hopefully once he's a little older Jayden will be able to have a more flexible schedule! I hate when our babies have to leave us:( Sounds like everything is going good! Can't wait to meet ur little man!!
ReplyDeleteI found a bedding that I like - NOT that I LOVE but I like it more than anything i have found but it is expensive of course. Haha. JJ goes to his dads for half the summer - first or second half - and I get him every wednesday and every other weekend during that time. I hate it but I dont have much of a choice... If I had it my way he would never leave me. Haha. But he will be at my house pretty much every day - the girl that watches him during the summer is watching him at my house so even when he is with his dad he will be at my house during the day. I can't wait until the schedule gets more flexible! I can't believe how grown up and beautiful KK is! Well, the looks part she gets honest but the grown up part... I remember going to Shoals with you when I was her age to pick her up between cheerleading tryouts! Haha. Can't wait to meet my little man either! Have you scheduled your appt to find out what you are having yet?? I can't wait to hear!! I hope its a boy - your DH needs a hunting buddy. ;)
